# wp polyfields import-options

The `wp polyfields import-options` command imports single-language ACF options data into PolyFields language-specific stores.

## Usage

```
wp polyfields import-options
```

## Flags

Pass `--overwrite` to force overwrite non-empty default-language values:

```
wp polyfields import-options --overwrite
```

## Behavior notes

- Import from admin is a one-time bootstrap. WP-CLI can be run again to force another pass.
- Without `--overwrite`, propagation (including sync) does not run when seeding is skipped because the default-language value is already set.
- Below import workload thresholds: the command runs synchronously, including machine translation for `translate` and `translate_once` fields.
- Above import workload thresholds: import starts in the background and queues machine-translation jobs the same way as first-use import.

See [Import from default ACF options](https://www.wp-polyfields.com/docs/import-migration/import-from-default-acf-options/) for full import behavior and field mode details.
